  I can’t recommend Margate Mechanical and Machinery at all.
  The in-laws ride on mower started smoking and then wouldn’t move.
  Margate Machinery came and collected it.  They rang to say that it was the drive belt and the diff, it would cost $1,100.00 to repair.  They offered to buy it for $300 if we decided not to go ahead with the repair.
  We collected the mower and paid the $140 that Margate Mechanical and Machinery charged for the collection and diagnosis.  When we got the mower back, the 1 year old battery was no longer in it, it had been swapped for an older battery.  Returned to Margate Mechanical and Machinery to query this, they said it must have been a mix up with another mower there and offered another battery (which they said was our original one).
  We took the mower to Southern Machinery in Kingston.  Southern Machinery reported back that it was the drive belt and nothing else. Charged $140 to fix it and the mower is now running great.
  So are Margate Mechanical and Machinery incompetent or crooked? I don’t know, you decide.
